So many choices!

There are many options and debates regarding juicers, brands and effectiveness; don’t let the choices overwhelm you! The worst mistake you can make is simply not making the leap and starting your new juicing routine.

“What Juicer Do You Use”

Jack LaLanne’s Ultimate Power Juicer is what we use. It’s not the absolute best on the market, but we love it!

Just Starting to Juice? Find something that you know you can return in case you aren’t happy with the performance of the juicer. We bought our juicer at Costco, which gave us some security knowing that if we didn’t like it they have a stellar return policy. Costco: Jack LaLanne’s Ultimate Power Juicer

Beet Juice for Blood Pressure

BEET JUICE

“High blood pressure makes the heart work harder and, over time, can damage blood vessels throughout the body. High blood pressure is one of the leading causes of kidney failure, also called end-stage renal disease (ESRD).” – Source “High Blood Pressure and Kidney Disease”

As you may have read in The Story or heard me talk directly to you about it, juicing a beet was the first step to my dad’s dramatic recovery.

HOW WE TESTED BLOOD PRESSURE ON BEETS

We decided to put the theory to the test and we cut a beet in half and juiced it.. easy!

BUT… We were careful and wanting to eliminate medications, so more specifically, here’s what we did:

STEP 1:  Check Blood Pressure.  (BP was high)

STEP 2: Clean and cut an organic beet in half.

STEP 3: Juice the beet into a glass about the size of a shot glass.

STEP 4: Wait 20 minutes. Check Blood Pressure. (BP was normal)

STEP 5: Wait 30 minutes. Check Blood Pressure

STEP 6: Wait 2 hours. Check Blood Pressure…

For one full day we continuously checked the blood pressure every hour or two. In our instance, it remained normal and he went to sleep with no blood pressure medications and a less swollen foot (from the edema). Giving him the medications would have caused his blood pressure to decrease too drastically, so it was obvious we could not give him the blood pressure medications that were prescribed. After about the 3rd day and as the healing progressed we were confident enough to check the blood pressure only a couple times a day.

After the 30 days he no longer needed to take the Beet Juice Shots. He simply had healed.

Obviously, I can’t say this will work for everyone, but this was our experience and it was extremely effective!!

Below are various articles that lead me to try this powerful remedy.

Beet Juice Side effects:

Note that the side effects are rare and typically harmless. I would suggest comparing to the potential side effects of blood pressure medication.

We were warned against juicing by several doctors. Doctors the prescribed multiple medications that caused severe side effects. Doctors are trained to treat symptoms with medication and are not educated on natural remedies.

Watch This – “Food Matters”

Food Matters The first documentary that motivated us to start juicing and thinking about what we were putting in our bodies was Food Matters”. This documentary really helped us get a new mindset about food.  A lot of it is common sense and a lot of it we ignore. This Documentary puts things back into perspective and we highly recommend it for anyone starting out on a health journey!

The focus of the film is in helping us rethink the belief systems fed to us by our modern medical and health care establishments. The interviewees point out that not every problem requires costly, major medical attention and reveal many alternative therapies that can be more effective and economical, less harmful and invasive than conventional medical treatments. – Review by GaiamTV Watch the full movie for free below!
